We just got home from St. George today. It was a fast trip; we were only gone since Friday. We did the usual things, restored our California roots by eating at In-n-Out, slept in late, ate ourselves sick at various places -- you know, typical vacation things. One thing I wanted to do for sure, though, was take Ethan to the St. George Temple. This temple has a very special place in my heart because it is where my grandparents, Mom and Baba were married -- so I love being there. I feel close to them there. I love the simplicity of this temple with its clean lines and tall, tall steps.
It was nice being there. I don't really have much to say about it, because some things just need to be experienced. But after all the fuss, bother and sadness in my life in the last couple weeks, it was just what I needed. Just that, to feel my grandparents around me and to feel like I really am doing pretty okay after all.
