What's new with us? Oh the usual.
Jonathan is trying to keep up with all his many responsibilities. As I write this he is at Roundtable doing Scout stuff. He has had a long day today... work, UVU and now Scouts. I am so grateful for a hardworking husband. I love him so much. He has had some exciting mischief at his school. Between school fights and drug busts, things are pretty lively over there.
Ethan is at basketball practice tonight. He is loving the basketball! His team is undefeated and his confidence is really blooming because of the sport. Ethan has practice once a week and a game on weekends. He is also doing awesome in school. No missing assignments! And his test scores are fantastic. All of a sudden he is on fire and really taking responsibility seriously. I am so proud of him. He's working hard and is capturing the vision of more free time if he gets his work done sooner.
Blythe is still jumping like crazy. That's pretty much the newest thing with her. Still jumping!
Also, she loves her homemade baby food. I don't think I could ever go back to store bought. She just doesn't like it as much. Tonight she ate a whole jar of peas, apples and squash. Big eater! I also have to start watching her like a hawk because she is a fast roller. My mom came over to help me today and she had rolled/scooted all the way over to the stairs. In translation, that means she was about three feet away from the stairs, but still -- I will have to be careful with Blythe now. She's mobile and she knows how to use it to her advantage. The other night she rolled, on purpose, to get to a box of Kleeenex.
As for me? I've been really sick the last few days. I've had an awful fever and body aches, almost like a flu but without the throwing up part. My joints still really ache and I don't have much of an appetite. This is why my mom has been here to help with the baby. I appreciate her so much; I don't know what I would have done without her or my dad. They've taken Ethan to school and picked him up for me so I could sleep through this overwhelming exhaustion. Other than being sick I also started taking belly dancing! Tuesday night was my first class and so far I really enjoy it. I will be having a recital at the end of March.
