- After dealing with overwhelming exhaustion I finally went to the doctors to find out just what the heck was wrong with me. After lots of blood being taken out of me it was discovered my body was freaking out from a severe Vitamin D deficiency! The body's levels should start in the 30 range and mine was at 10. All those days and weeks on bed rest really did it to me. So I'm on an enormous supplement once a week and have been ordered to take it easy until I can build up to some exercise and of course... get in the sunshine! No complaints here.
- Jonathan is busy working as always. Right now he is sick with a bronchial infection and is dragging bottom. But he has been happy to be back on the bike and cruising around. We've been planning backyard garden projects and he is definitely looking forward to time off from work!
- Ethan loved basketball! His team ended up not winning the championship, but they worked like champions. He also won his class spelling bee. His school is having a reading goal competition where they are accumulating reading minutes in order to win a special assembly. Ethan's been working really hard to turn in as many minutes as he can. I had to talk to him about it just this last week because he was getting pretty frustrated about his school not being close to the goal so far. I had to remind him that it wasn't his responsibility to earn all the minutes for the entire school; all he had to do was do his best and contribute his part. We'll see what happens!
- As for Miss Blythe, she is pure mischief these days. It seems that all the things Ethan was never interested in she dives straight forward. She crawls with her little finger straight out -- whoop! right into the light sockets. Whoop! right towards the door stoppers. Whoop! straight forward the baking sheets and they fall on top of her. She is full of curiosity and nothing escapes her big eyes. Nothing. She can empty a kleenex box faster than anyone, too. Blythe is our little Stinkerdoodle.
Here are some pictures and things I've been able to salvage from my phone:

Blythe now has all her toys where she can reach them. All her friends are one shelf.

Ethan and Blythe have become best friends. As always.

It is possible to fall asleep while eating.

Blythe now sleeps like this. All the time.

She continues to cuddle.
![]() |
She also attacks.
![]() |
Blythe got stuck in the base of her high chair and rolled it around the kitchen.

Blythe will crawl around, stop to sleep, then crawl to play some more. She'll repeat this several times before giving up.

And in 15 minutes, Blythe emptied a container of baby wipes.
