My kids are vocal (sound familiar?)

Ethan has developed quite a spectacular voice as a writer.  He goes to writing re-teach at school where he is given a "sentence starter", which he is very excited about. On Friday he was excited to share with me what he had written.  "Mama, I couldn't work with what the teacher first gave me, so she gave me permission to change it a little."  I love it.

His teacher loves his personality and calls him The King of Voice.  I thought I would share the start of it here (before any editing):
In hindsight it was probably worse for me to make a whole army of nuclear powered independent death machines than to simply follow the instructions for my blender.  Now I'm being escorted to a high security military base charged for trying to take over the world!  "Well, it can't be any worse!" I said to myself.  But suddenly, it got a whole lot worse.  My mom walked in!
"I told you so!" her eyes seemed to say.
Who knows where this is headed?  But he is pretty excited about the possibilities.

As for Blythe, we spent some quality time discussing current events:

I actually had this blog ready to go quite a while ago.  I just had technology problems -- stupid phone!
