Ethan's Epic Elbow

After I delivered on Saturday, Ethan went to first stay with his Aunt Cari and Uncle Lee before staying with Aunt Mary and Uncle John.  He was having a great time playing with cousins and hanging out with aunts and uncles.  On Monday, though, his luck would change.

Aunt Mary took him and his cousins to Seven Peaks where Ethan promptly slipped on some mats for a slide and dislocated his elbow.  Poor Jonathan had to worry about me, Blythe and now Ethan -- all at the hospital!  Turns out, Ethan is a riot while at the hospital and given a few medications.

The elbow was so severely dislocated, they had to put him under deep sedation before setting it again.  It would be too painful otherwise.  Ethan coming out of sedation was even more funny than being under simple  pain medication.

After wearing a soft splint and sling for a few days, Ethan was able to remove it.  He is still feeling a little tender but I think he might make it.  Poor guy.
